Is this innovative studio the new king of NYC drum rooms? Our latest “Sweet Spot” is a strong contender. http://t.co/88qGMz79dN #audio
Step inside the advanced Hoboken studio of drummer Dylan Wissing – clients include @AliciaKeys, @Drake.http://t.co/88qGMz79dN #beats…
When it comes down to it, drums are at the core of what makes an NYC studio essential.
In the heart of Hoboken, Triple Colossal Studios is seriously specialized in that sector, providing not just premium rhythm instruments but an elite player – one Dylan Wissing — to go along with it.
A fiercely dedicated player who has played on GRAMMY-winning tracks, Wissing has set up his NJ facility to stand up as one of the top rooms for drum recording on the East Coast. From the looks of his client list – Alicia Keys, Kanye West, Jay-Z, Drake, and many more – he’s met his objective and then some.
But there’s flexible strategies to go along with it: clients can work with Wissing remotely via his plugged-in drum den (don’t miss his diverse player-portfolio below). And what’s more, the stylish digs provide full-service recording, rehearsal, and podcast support.
Laser focus and versatility in one place – it’s a double whammy that makes Triple Colossal worthy of a Sweet Spot.- SonicScoop, March 10, 2013. Recording Sweet Spot article by David Weiss. NYC’s Music & Sound Creation Connection

Dylan's sense of rhythm and timing is only rivaled by choice of patterns and parts. He is my first call session drummer and is one of the few guys I know who will play rock when you need rock, Hip Hop when you need Hip Hop, and deliver the right sound and feel.
- Ken Lewis, Platinum-selling producer and twelve-time Grammy-winning mixer, musician and songwriter (Kanye West, Lenny Kravitz, Beastie Boys)

If you can get Dylan to play on your record, consider yourself very lucky. What makes him such a great drummer is an ability to listen and bring new life to a song with his impeccable timing, groove and spirit.

Does everything you touch turn to gold? ; )
These drums are epic! Love the shaker, cowbell and cymbal washes... it's great how you keep the drums forward-moving and uptempo over an otherwise slow, lazy guitar part. That is really going to help the song. Man, I am so excited about these drums...thanks Dylan and have a great weekend!- Jonathan Spruance of Taiga, client

Great feel, great sound, I love this record!
- Shawn Pelton, studio legend (Bruce Springsteen, Sheryl Crow, Shawn Colvin), speaking of Skidmore Fountain’s album “Cloudless Blue”

I'm excited about what might be possible working together. Really love what you played - being able to have you drop tracks that good so fast is beyond invaluable for so many potential projects I'll be working on in the future.
- Steven Nathan, lead singer/songwriter of Man on Earth

Great site Dylan! Nice playing and interesting dry sounding approach to recording. I'm especially a fan of your vintage stuff.
- Mark Schulman, session great (Pink, Velvet Revolver, Sheryl Crow)

I'm writing this after spending the evening watching a former drum student of mine play with a smoking New York band. It seemed to be fate that Dylan Wissing and I would reunite... Sometimes, there are advantages to hanging around long enough to see your students become masters.

Hey Dylan, thanks for not being a drug addict!

Dylan Wissing is what happens when you harness a freight train to a drum kit
